Overview

The RCBS Lock-Out Die is a safety device designed for progressive reloading presses to detect "no powder" or "double charge" conditions. It features 7/8"-14 threads for compatibility with standard progressive reloading systems and is intended for use with straight-wall pistol calibers of 9mm and larger. When a charge error is detected, the die's internal sleeve locks up and halts the press ram, preventing the seating of an improperly charged cartridge. The unit comes pre-assembled with a spring-loaded plunger and includes two cartridge adapters (one large and one small).
