Overview

The RCBS 2-cavity bullet mold is precision-machined from solid cast iron blocks to produce clean, repeatable castings for 30-caliber ammunition. This model is designed for a .309-inch diameter, 180-grain flat nose bullet with a gas check, making it well-suited for cartridges like the .308 Winchester and .30-06 Springfield. The mold blocks are precision ground square and joined with steel alignment pins to ensure proper mating over years of heavy use. A 3/16-inch thick solid steel sprue plate is held securely by tempered steel spring washers and screws to deliver uniform bullets with a square base. Mold handles are sold separately.
