Overview
The Radian Guardian Optics Guard is a robust optic mounting and protection system machined from 7075 aluminum with a hard-anodized black finish. Designed to mount to Glock MOS slides with a Trijicon RCR footprint, the guard provides comprehensive top, front, and side impact protection for pistol red dot optics while allowing for an unobstructed irons-forward sight picture with optional back-up sights. The system utilizes a proprietary STUD-LOK threaded stud and nut mounting interface that delivers extended thread engagement, high hold-down power, and increased shear resistance. TRU-SEAL technology eliminates the need for an added sealing plate by using pre-installed O-rings on the mounting screws to hold the plate watertight to the slide, sealing out moisture and preventing corrosion in the mounting threads. Each kit includes the Guardian optic mount and guard plate, two plate mounting screws, two TRU-SEAL O-rings, two STUD-LOK studs, and two STUD-LOK self-locking sleeve nuts.
