Overview

The PTR 9RS is a semi-automatic 9mm handgun featuring a 30-round capacity and a 4-inch barrel. Built as a hybrid platform, it combines the larger 9CT receiver with a nitride heat-treated 3-lug barrel featuring a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle. This configuration lowers the cyclic rate to enhance stability and control while utilizing a roller-delayed blowback operating system with a tungsten dead-blow weighted full-auto bolt carrier that is host-ready for NFA-registered auto sear packs. Constructed with a black powder-coated finish over Parkerizing, the pistol features an anodized aluminum M-LOK handguard with a finger guard and a steel Picatinny rail for optics and accessories. Handling is supported by an ergonomic grip with finger grooves and a dual-release system offering both paddle-style and push-button magazine releases. It ships in a heavy-duty range case with contoured foam padding, two magazines, a rear sight adjustment tool, a single-point bungee sling, and a cable lock.
