Overview

The PTG Pilot Bushing is a tapered steel tool designed for center-tooling an action during the use of bolt raceway reamers, receivers, or taps. By selecting the appropriate diameter to enter the existing raceway, the bushing allows the reamer to 'self-pilot' as it cuts. As material is removed, the bushings push out, eventually allowing the reamer itself to act as a mandrel match-machined to the receiver. This bushing measures .7025 inches.
