Overview

This PTG reloading die blank is designed for .284 caliber (7mm) applications and features a pre-drilled pilot hole. It is intended for custom die work, such as creating a die for a wildcat cartridge or a specific custom chamber dimension, and must be finished with a die reamer. The body features a standard 7/8"-14 thread to fit most reloading presses, a knurled upper, and measures 3.875 inches in length with a 3/4-inch width. This is not a finished die; the user must drill and tap the upper end for internal components, such as a decapping unit or seater stem, and provide a lock ring. While the die body is constructed from durable material similar to that used by other major manufacturers and typically does not require heat treating, it can be heat treated at 1650-1700 degrees Fahrenheit followed by a slow cool if desired.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
