The PTG Carbide Chamber Roughing Reamer is manufactured to SAAMI specifications from C4 carbide, offering extended tool life that lasts up to four times longer than standard tool steel reamers. Designed for the 300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) cartridge, it includes a removable pilot compatible with the GTR Chamber Flushing System. This roughing reamer is utilized to make the initial material cut in an unchambered barrel prior to finishing and headspacing. It features a 3/8-inch square drive shank intended for use with a tap wrench.
