Overview

The PSA Gen2 KS-47 lower receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum and features a hard-coat anodized finish. It is designed to accept standard AR-15 fire control groups, though one-piece drop-in triggers are not compatible due to magazine catch geometry. The lower includes steel reinforcements to accommodate AK-style surplus magazines, including drum-style. This Gen2 platform is optimized for use with a PA-10 carbine buffer spring and a heavy H1 buffer. Additional features include an extended magazine release with oversize side paddles, an adjustable SBA3 brace, a Mil-Spec buffer tube, and a Magpul grip. Reliability is guaranteed with specific AK-47 magazines, including Magpul PMags and various stick or drum magazines from Romanian, Chinese, Korean, Yugoslavian, Bulgarian, and Hungarian sources. Use of unlisted magazines is not covered under warranty. When combining Gen 1 and Gen 2 components, Magpul AK-47 magazines are recommended for best performance.
