Overview

The Palmetto State Armory AK-V is a blowback-operated 9mm semi-automatic pistol inspired by the Vityaz-SN submachine gun. It features a 10.5-inch 4150 steel nitrided barrel with a 1:10 twist, threaded 1/2x28, and is equipped with a 2-port "tanker-style" muzzle brake. Rated for +P+ ammunition, the pistol is built with a stamped 1mm steel receiver, a forged front trunnion, and a forged bolt and carrier. It features a Picatinny top-railed hinged dust cover designed to co-witness with low-mount red dot optics, a fixed rear sight, an enhanced extended safety selector, and a single-stage single-hook fire control group. Furniture includes a red wood AK grip, a red wood lower handguard with a cheese grater upper handguard, and a PSA AK Picatinny stock adapter with a left-side folding triangle brace. It feeds from a 35-round U9 patterned magazine that is also compatible with CZ Scorpion 9mm firearms.
