Overview

The Palmetto State Armory AK-V is a blowback-operated semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm, designed after the Vityaz-SN Russian submachine gun with modern enhancements. It features a 10.5-inch 4150 nitrided barrel with a 1/10 twist, threaded 1/2x28 to accommodate common muzzle devices and suppressors. Built with a forged front trunnion and bolt/carrier, the firearm is rated for +P+ 9mm ammunition and performs reliably when suppressed. The AK-V utilizes a 35-round magazine and incorporates a last-round bolt hold-open feature. It comes equipped with a Picatinny top-railed, hinged dust cover designed to allow most common low-mount red dot optics to co-witness with the sights. For stability and customization, the rear features a PSA AK Picatinny Stock Adapter, which replaces standard M4 adapters to allow the secure attachment of a side-folding brace. Finished in black, the handgun shares a single hook trigger with the PSA AK-47 GF3 line.
