Overview

This upper assembly features an 8.5-inch barrel chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist, M4 barrel extension, and a pistol-length gas system. The barrel is nitride-treated and finished with a 7-inch lightweight M-Lok free-float rail, a .750-inch low-profile gas block, and an A2 flash hider. The forged 7075-T6 A3 upper receiver is hard-coat anodized. The included full-auto profile bolt carrier group features a shot-peened, HP/MPI-tested Carpenter 158 steel bolt. The 8620 steel carrier is chrome-lined and phosphate-coated, with a gas key that is hardened to USGI specifications and staked per mil-spec.
