Overview

The Palmetto State Armory 5.56 NATO AR-15 upper assembly features a 16-inch 4150V chrome moly vanadium barrel with a nitride finish, 1:7 twist rate, M4 barrel extension, carbine-length gas system, F-marked gas sight base, and an A2 flash hider. The barrel is surrounded by Magpul MOE carbine-length handguards. The upper receiver is forged from 7075-T6 aluminum, finished with a hard-coat anodizing, and meets military specifications. The included full-auto profile bolt carrier group utilizes a magnetic particle-inspected 9310 steel bolt, a Mil-Spec staked gas key fastened with Grade 8 screws, and a phosphate-coated 8620 steel M-16 profile carrier. The assembly comes complete with a black Magpul MBUS folding rear sight featuring a dual aperture and spring-loaded deployment.
