Overview

This PSA Freedom upper assembly features a 16-inch 4150V steel barrel with an A2 profile, a 1:7 twist rate, and a mid-length gas system. The barrel is finished with a nitride coating for durability and includes a .750" diameter F-marked front sight base with a sling swivel and an A2 flash hider. The upper receiver is a forged 7075-T6 A3-style component, hard coat anodized black with M4 feedramp cuts. The bolt carrier group consists of a shot-peened Carpenter 158 bolt that is MP-tested and phosphate-coated. The carrier itself features a full-auto profile and is chrome-lined. The gas key is chrome-lined and secured with staked, grade 8 bolts. This assembly is completed with Magpul MOE Flat Dark Earth handguards and an included Magpul MBUS rear sight.
