Overview

The PSA 16" Classic M4 Freedom Upper is chambered in 5.56 NATO and features a 16-inch M4 profile barrel constructed from 4150V Chrome Moly Vanadium steel. The barrel includes a 1:7 twist rate, M4 barrel extension, a carbine-length gas system, an F-marked front sight base, and an A2 flash hider. It is paired with an Olive Drab Green standard handguard. The upper receiver is a forged 7075-T6 A3 unit, machined to MIL-SPEC standards and hard coat anodized. The included bolt carrier group features a full-auto profile carrier made of 8620 steel that is chrome-lined and phosphate-coated. The bolt is constructed from Carpenter No. 158 steel, which has been shot-peened, high-pressure tested, and magnetic particle inspected.
