Overview

This Palmetto State Armory 5.56 NATO upper assembly features a 10-inch nitride-finished chrome moly vanadium barrel with a 1:7 twist, an M4 barrel extension, and a carbine-length gas system. The barrel is equipped with an F-marked front sight base, an A2 flash hider, and a Magpul carbine-length handguard. The upper receiver is a forged 7075-T6 A3 unit with a hard-coat anodized finish. It includes a shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel bolt with a nitride-finished bolt carrier and a gas key secured with staked grade-8 fasteners.
