Overview

This Palmetto State Armory upper features a 10.5-inch chrome moly vanadium steel barrel with a melonite finish, chambered in 5.56 NATO with a 1:7 twist rate and a carbine-length gas system. The barrel is equipped with a low-profile gas block, an A2 flash hider, and a PSA 10.5-inch Lightweight M-Lok free-float rail. The forged 7075-T6 A3 AR upper receiver is hard-coat anodized black. It includes a bolt carrier group with a mil-spec shot-peened Carpenter 158 steel bolt, a parkerized exterior and chrome-lined interior carrier, and a gas key secured with grade 8 fasteners and staked per mil-spec.
