Overview

The Proof Research PXT prefit barrel for Zermatt Origin actions is chambered in 308 Winchester with a 20-inch Sendero contour. It utilizes PXT (PROOF Exponential Twist) rifling geometry, designed to reduce engraving force and throat erosion while ensuring a smoother transition for the projectile. This technology promotes increased barrel life, improved consistency, and better recoil control. The barrel is wrapped in high-strength, aerospace-grade carbon fiber, offering a significant weight reduction compared to steel barrels and enhanced heat dissipation for better temperature resistance.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
