Overview

The Proof Research PXT PR15 AR-15 Barrel is a 16-inch standard contour barrel chambered in 223 Wylde with a 1:7" twist rate and a carbon fiber finish. Utilizing PROOF Exponential Twist (PXT) technology, this barrel features a complete rethinking of conventional rifling geometry and twist progression designed to reduce engraving force, minimize throat erosion, and create a smoother transition as projectiles engage the rifling. PXT technology helps reduce wear, improve consistency, and lower felt torque for better recoil control and target retention. The carbon fiber construction makes the barrel up to 64% lighter than traditional steel barrels of similar contour while offering match-grade accuracy, improved heat dissipation, reduced harmonic vibration, and no point-of-impact shift during high-volume fire.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
