Overview

The Proof Research Lone Peak Arms prefit barrel is chambered in .223 Remington with a 26-inch barrel length and a stainless finish. Produced in-house from double-stress relieved 416R stainless steel—a pre-hardened chromium steel ideally suited for match-grade rifle barrels—each barrel is drilled, contoured, reamed to bore diameter, cut rifled, lapped, and inspected via borescope for consistent accuracy. Engineered for thermal performance, the design incorporates aerospace-grade carbon fiber featuring a helical wrapping pattern that favors longitudinal thermal diffusivity along the length of the barrel. This configuration allows the barrel to dissipate heat efficiently away from the bore rather than insulating it, moving heat through the wall thickness to promote faster cooling and maintain precision over extended strings of fire.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
