Proof Research Barrel Blank 284 Caliber 18" Carbon Fiber Sendero Contour 1:8" Twist

Overview

This Proof Research barrel blank is chambered in .284 Win and features an 18-inch length with a Sendero contour. Engineered for precision, it is constructed from 416R stainless steel that has been double-stress relieved, cut-rifled, and lapped for match-grade accuracy. The barrel is encased in aerospace-grade carbon fiber using a helical wrapping pattern, which optimizes thermal diffusivity to dissipate heat efficiently, allowing the barrel to cool faster and maintain accuracy during extended shooting sessions. It features a 1:8" twist rate and a diameter of .972" at the muzzle.
