Overview

The Proof Research AR-15 Barrel in .22 ARC features an 18-inch length, a 1:7" twist rate, and a 5/8-24 mounting thread pitch with a stainless finish. Proof Research barrels begin as match-grade 416R stainless steel blanks before being wrapped in aerospace-grade, high-strength carbon fiber using a proprietary matrix resin and helical wrapping pattern. This carbon fiber composite construction provides exceptional thermal diffusivity to rapidly dissipate heat, maintains point-of-impact stability during high-volume strings of fire, reduces harmonic vibration, and creates a durable barrel that is significantly lighter than traditional steel alternatives of comparable contour.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
