Proof Research Accuracy International AX308 M27 Breech Carbon Fiber Prefit Barrel 6 Creedmoor 24" Sendero 1:7.5" Twist 5 Groove

Overview

The Proof Research Accuracy International AX308 M27 carbon fiber prefit barrel is chambered in 6mm Creedmoor and features a 24-inch length with a 1:7.5-inch twist rate and a Sendero profile. These barrels are manufactured from double-stress relieved 416R stainless steel, which is cut-rifled and lapped to ensure match-grade consistency. The barrel is wrapped in aerospace-grade carbon fiber using a helical pattern that favors longitudinal thermal diffusivity, allowing the barrel to dissipate heat more efficiently than traditional steel counterparts. This engineering results in improved cooling rates, increased durability, and the ability to maintain accuracy during extended firing sessions.
