Proof Research 110157 Bolt Action Blank 308 Cal 24 in Sendero Contour 1:9 in Twist 5 Grooves, Carbon Fiber Wrapped, Rifle Barrel

Overview

The Proof Research bolt-action barrel blank is a 24-inch, .308 caliber carbon-fiber wrapped rifle barrel featuring a 1:9" twist, 5 grooves, and a Sendero contour. Arriving ready for threading and chambering by a gunsmith, it is built with an in-house double-stress relieved 416R stainless steel core that is precision drilled, reamed, cut rifled, lapped, and borescope-inspected. The aerospace-grade carbon fiber wrap utilizes a proprietary helical pattern to maximize heat dissipation, reduce weight by up to 64% compared to traditional steel contours, and maintain long-term match-grade accuracy and durability.
