Overview

The ProMag SPR-A5 is a 20-round extended magazine designed for 9mm Springfield Armory XD pistols. It is constructed from heat-treated, blued-steel with a magazine body that is TIG-welded for maximum strength. The internal assembly includes an injection-molded follower, a lock-plate, and a base-plate made from a proprietary DuPont Zytel polymer, while the spring is precision-wound from heat-treated chrome silicon wire for reliable feeding and consistent chambering. This magazine features an overall length of 6.25 inches and includes a molded grip-sleeve that fills the space between the base-plate and the bottom of the grip frame. Manufactured in the USA, the SPR-A5 is built to provide long-lasting performance for range training and personal defense. Note that this magazine is not compatible with XD-M series pistols.
