Overview

The Otus SMX-20 Lux Elite is a semi-automatic 20-gauge shotgun featuring a 28-inch barrel and an inertia-operated action. It is equipped with the proprietary Shock Force recoil management system to facilitate comfortable use with magnum shells. The shotgun includes an adjustable walnut comb stock with interchangeable soft rubber cheek pads and features enhanced, oversized controls, including an improved charging handle and bolt release. The bolts and five included Titan-X extended choke tubes are coated for lubricity and durability. The shotgun also features the Fibertron LED front sight, which utilizes a small LED to provide a glow to the fiber optic bead for target acquisition. Otus recommends a 50-round break-in period using high-brass, heavy loads (1300 FPS or higher) to ensure smooth operation.
