The Otis Ripcord is a .338 caliber bore cleaning tool designed for a single-pass, breech-to-muzzle cleaning process. The tool features a 10-inch aggressive cleaning surface made of heat-resistant Nomex fibers, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing for use while the barrel is still hot. Its helix-shaped rubber core maintains constant contact with the rifling. The 36-inch cord is equipped with 8-32 threaded ends, making it compatible with other Otis cleaning components.
