Otis FGRC512 Ripcord 12 Gauge, Shotgun. 8-32 in Thread Nomex/Rubber 45 in Long

Overview

The Otis Ripcord is a specialized breech-to-muzzle cleaning tool designed for 12-gauge shotguns. Its patent-pending design features a 10-inch aggressive cleaning surface made from Nomex fibers, which act as both a brush to loosen fouling and a patch to capture particles. The Nomex material is heat-resistant up to 700 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing for cleaning while the barrel is still hot. The Ripcord utilizes a rigid, helix-shaped rubber core that maintains constant pressure against the bore to ensure 360-degree cleaning. With an overall length of 45 inches and 8-32 threaded ends, it is compatible with other Otis cleaning components and does not require gravity feed or barrel disassembly for use.
