The Noveske Lightweight Shorty AR-15 barrel is a 10.5-inch match-grade barrel chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO. Crafted from 416R stainless steel and hardened to 30 RC, it features a bead-blasted satin finish and an exclusive 5.56 Match Mod 0 chamber, which is polished to offer superior accuracy with both 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington ammunition. The bore utilizes polygonal rifling to increase projectile velocity and enhance barrel longevity. This barrel is equipped with M4 extended feed ramps and a 60-degree muzzle crown. It includes a low-profile .750-inch journal gas block that is pinned to the barrel, along with a carbine-length gas tube. The barrel is threaded for compatibility with flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and suppressors. Each barrel is individually serialized for quality control purposes and designed with a lightweight contour, reducing weight by 3.3 ounces compared to standard stainless steel 10.5-inch barrels.
