Overview

The Noveske DM (Direct Mount) Slide and Barrel Set is an out-of-the-box upgrade designed for Glock 17 Gen 5 frames and components. This assembly features an optics-ready slide machined from 17-4 stainless steel with a black Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) finish, enhanced front and rear serrations, and a chamfered top window for optimal weight balance. The innovative Direct Mount Optic System utilizes a dovetail-designed Forward Mounted Rear Sight (FMRS) that acts as a spacer, keeping compatible optics—such as the Trijicon RMR and SRO, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Aimpoint Acro, and Holosun 509T—as close to the bore centerline as possible for a smooth mounting process and reliable return to zero. Pinned to the slide is a threaded match-grade pistol barrel machined from 416R stainless steel with a black DLC coating, featuring a 1/2x28 thread pitch with an included thread protector, a 1:10 twist rate, and an 11-degree target crown. The barrel utilizes Single Point Technology (S.P.T.) to cut the bore, rifling, and chamber in a single precision machine operation, complemented by six small flutes to reduce weight and increase heat transfer. Both components display the iconic Noveske Cross engraving. The kit includes a front sight, a rear cover plate with a serrated black rear sight, a Noveske-marked back plate, and necessary mounting hardware. Note that slides do not include an installed firing pin channel liner or internal parts kit, and require factory Glock internal parts.
