Nosler 8x57 JS Mauser 180-grain Expansion Tip (E-Tip) ammunition is lead-free, utilizing a solid copper alloy construction suitable for lead-free hunting zones. Each round features a signature OD green polycarbonate tip designed to prevent deformation in the magazine, improve aerodynamic efficiency, and initiate uniform expansion upon impact. The E-Tip bullet also incorporates a boat-tail design to reduce drag and an Energy Expansion Cavity (E2) that allows for controlled expansion while retaining over 95% of the bullet weight for deep penetration.
