Nosler .270 caliber (.277) 140-grain Ballistic Tip bullets feature a color-coded polymer tip that resists magazine deformation and initiates reliable expansion upon impact. Engineered with a fully tapered jacket and a uniform lead-alloy core, these bullets deliver controlled expansion, consistent terminal performance, and 50–60% weight retention. The heavy jacketed base acts as a platform for a large-diameter mushroom, while the Nosler Solid Base handles ultra-high velocities. Combined with a ballistic-engineered boat tail design, these components offer high ballistic coefficients and long-range accuracy. Each 50-count box is visually inspected at the factory.
