Overview

The Nordic Components MXT (Modular eXtension Tube) for 20-gauge shotguns is designed to increase magazine capacity by 6 rounds. The assembly includes the extension tube, a reinforced end cap to withstand heavy recoil, and a magazine tube spring. The tube features a barrel clamp relief groove to prevent the clamp from shifting under recoil, protecting both the barrel finish and the point of impact. The design incorporates identical threads on both ends of the tube body, allowing it to be reversed to adjust the barrel clamp position for different barrel lengths. Note that this component requires a compatible Nordic Components magazine extension tube nut, which is sold separately.
