Overview

The Daniel Defense MK18 Upper Receiver Group is a compact, durable assembly designed for close-quarters engagements, mirroring the specifications of platforms used by USSOCOM. It features a 10.3-inch cold-hammer-forged barrel made from Chrome Moly Vanadium steel, chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO with a 1:7" twist. The barrel utilizes a government profile, chrome lining, and a heavy phosphate coating for corrosion resistance. The assembly includes a Daniel Defense RIS II MK18 rail system in Flat Dark Earth, finished with Type III hard coat anodizing, and a pinned low-profile gas block. The upper receiver is CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aluminum with M4 feed ramps and an anodized finish. It is equipped with an M16 profile bolt carrier group that is MP-tested and chrome-lined. The setup includes the ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle, engineered for suppressed fire, and a Daniel Defense flash suppressor. The system is compatible with standard AR-15 lowers and includes Santoprene rail panels for added grip and heat resistance. Note: Sights are sold separately.
