Overview

The Mossberg 940 JM Pro is a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun featuring a 24-inch barrel and a 9-round capacity. Built for 3-gun competitions, it comes optic-ready with patent-pending receiver cuts and a removable cover plate that allows direct mounting of Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights for improved eye alignment and faster target acquisition. Internal enhancements include a durable gas system, specially coated internal parts for smooth operation, and a competition-level loading port, elevator, and follower. Externally, it features a fixed synthetic stock with a user-adjustable length of pull ranging from 13 inches to 14.25 inches, a streamlined forend with Mossberg signature texturing, a quick-empty magazine release, a HIVIZ TriComp fiber optic sight, and an included Briley cylinder choke tube.
