Overview

The Mossberg 940 JM Pro is a semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun built for competition and 3-gun shooting. It features a 24-inch matte blued vent rib steel barrel, a tungsten gray stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped, and an adjustable black synthetic stock with Mossberg's signature texturing on both the stock and streamlined forend. The shotgun is optic-ready with patent-pending receiver cuts and a removable cover plate designed to directly mount Shield RMSc-pattern micro dot sights. Internal components include a clean-running gas-vent system capable of up to 1,500 rounds between cleanings, specially coated or finished parts for smooth operation, and a competition-level loading port, elevator, and follower. Additional features include a quick-empty magazine release, Briley extended choke tubes, and a HIVIZ TriComp fiber optic front sight. The firearm has a 3-inch chamber, a 4-round capacity, and an overall length of 44.75 inches with an adjustable length of pull ranging from 13 to 14.25 inches.
