Overview

The Mossberg 990 Aftershock is an ultra-compact, 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun featuring a 14.75-inch matte blued barrel and a 5+1 capacity. Built for home defense and security applications, it includes a Crimson Trace Lasersaddle, a front fiber optic sight, and a cylinder bore choke. The shotgun is equipped with a black synthetic Aftershock grip with a rubberized palm pad, a streamlined forend with an embossed strap, and a magazine tube extension with M-LOK mounting slots for accessory customization. Additional functional features include an enlarged, beveled loading port, an oversized ergonomic bolt release, and a knurled charging handle. Internal components are corrosion-resistant, including a nickel boron-coated gas piston.
