The Mossberg SA-28 All Purpose Field Youth is a lightweight, easy-handling semi-automatic shotgun designed for sub-gauge shooting sports, wingshooting, and recreational use. It features a 24-inch matte blued vent rib barrel and a matching matte blued steel receiver, paired with a black synthetic fixed stock configured with a compact 12.5-inch length of pull tailored for youth or smaller framed shooters. The gas-operated system vents excess gases to reduce felt recoil and minimize stress on internal components. Equipped with a metal bead front sight and a crossbolt safety, this 28-gauge shotgun has a 4+1 capacity and a 2.75-inch chamber. It includes Mossberg International's Sport Set of five choke tubes.
