Overview

The Mossberg 500 Bantam is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun specifically designed for youth and smaller-framed shooters. It features a 24-inch vent-rib barrel and a hardwood stock with a 13-inch length of pull, which is 1 inch shorter than standard field models for improved ergonomics. The E-Z reach forearm is positioned closer to the shooter for easier handling. Mechanically, the shotgun includes dual extractors, twin action bars, and an anti-jam elevator for smooth operation. It is equipped with a top-mounted, ambidextrous tang safety and an adjustable Lightning Pump Action (LPA) trigger. The shotgun utilizes an Accu-Set choke system (Full, Improved Cylinder, and Modified included) and features dual bead sights. It has a 3-inch chamber, a 5+1 capacity, and a blued finish on both the barrel and receiver.
