Overview

The Safariland Model 6355 is a drop-leg tactical holster designed specifically for the Smith & Wesson M&P 45C equipped with a manual thumb safety and a compatible weapon light (including ITI M3, Streamlight TLR-1/TLR-1HL, SureFire X200/X300/X300U, Inforce APL, or Nightstick TWM series lights). Constructed from thermoformed SafariLaminate with a protective suede lining, it is built to withstand harsh operational environments while preserving the firearm's finish. Security is provided by the intuitive Automatic Locking System (ALS), which locks the weapon securely in all directions and is easily deactivated via an instinctive thumb release during a straight-up draw. An external Hood Guard shields the mechanism from takeaway attempts. The drop-leg harness features silicone gripper strips on dual elastic straps to prevent shifting and is designed to clear body armor and packs, while the shroud accommodates optional ELS, QLS, and MLS quick attachment systems.
