Overview

The Safariland Model 6355 is a tactical drop-leg holster with a quick-release leg strap, purpose-built for harsh environments and demanding operational situations. Constructed from durable, thermoformed SafariLaminate with a protective suede lining to safeguard the weapon's finish, it features an intuitive Automatic Locking System (ALS) that provides secure weapon retention in all directions. The internal locking device is fully operable with the thumb, allowing for a simple, instinctive straight-up draw once deactivated. An external Hood Guard shield protects the release mechanism against takeaway attempts. The drop-leg design rides clear of vests and packs, while dual elastic leg straps anchored by silicone gripper strips keep the platform securely in place. The holster shroud also accommodates accessory mounting using optional ELS, QLS, and MLS Quick Attachment Systems. This specific model is fitted for Sig Sauer P226 and P220 firearms.
