The Mimtac OK-AY is an ambidextrous charging handle designed for AR-15 and M16 platforms, finished in Flat Dark Earth. Machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, it features a dual-latch design for reliable operation from either side. The handle incorporates steel grip handles that provide superior strength and durability over standard aluminum latches, along with textured grip surfaces to ensure positive control when wearing gloves or operating in wet conditions. Reinforced geometry limits flex under stress, while polished contact points and refined latch movement maintain a smooth, consistent pull. It drops directly into standard Mil-Spec AR-15 upper receivers and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.
