Overview

The Midwest Industries MCTAR-SPLP is a low-profile, flip-up rear back-up iron sight designed for AR-15 platforms. Constructed from hard-anodized 6061 aluminum, this black-finished sight mounts securely to any Picatinny rail. It features a micro-windage adjustment knob that provides the same MOA adjustments as standard A2 sights, allowing for precise tuning without the need for tools. The sight utilizes a dual aperture design and locks firmly in both the up and down positions via a spring-loaded ball-bearing detent button. Measuring just 0.4375 inches tall when folded, the MCTAR-SPLP is designed to be unobtrusive and can co-witness with many optics, making it a reliable backup sighting solution for tactical or duty applications.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
