Overview

The Midwest Industries SS-Series Free Float Mid-Length Handguard is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a type 3 hard-coat anodized black finish for durability. Weighing 8.9 ounces without rails and 9.9 ounces with the rail kit, this lightweight handguard provides a solid lockup and requires the removal of the delta ring for installation. It features a continuous MIL-STD 1913 monolithic-type top rail with T-markings for accessory placement, five anti-rotation quick-detach sling swivel socket locations, and is piston-compatible to work with most popular piston systems. The unit includes three 1913-spec polymer rail sections for versatile mounting.
