Overview

The MidwayUSA AR500 Steel Target Gong is a reusable, waterjet-cut round target manufactured in the USA from 3/8-inch thick AR500 steel. Designed for repeatable performance and loud acoustic feedback upon impact, the gong features 1/2-inch mounting holes with wider tapered ears to prevent stress cracks. It is rated for a wide variety of handgun calibers, shotgun loads, and rifle calibers up to .338 Lapua Magnum. Proper mounting with grade 8 bolts and nylon-enforced rubber hanging straps or steel target hangers is recommended.
