Overview

The MidwayUSA AR500 Steel Round Gong is a durable, reusable target designed for a wide range of shooting disciplines, from rimfire up to large rifle calibers like .338 LM, as well as common handguns and shotguns. Waterjet cut from 3/8-inch thick AR500 steel, the gong produces a loud, audible "clang" upon direct impact to confirm hits. Featuring 1/2-inch mounting holes with ears designed with a wider taper to prevent stress cracks, the target offers easy setup. For optimal performance and longevity, the manufacturer recommends using grade 8 bolts along with nylon-enforced rubber hanging straps or dedicated steel target hangers.
