Overview

The Mesa Tactical SureShell Shotgun Shell Holder with 5-inch optics rail is a durable, lightweight aluminum mount designed for 12 gauge Remington 870, 1100, and 11-87 shotguns. Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, the saddle-style bracket wraps around the receiver and is secured by replacing factory trigger pins with internally threaded steel pins. This design provides a rigid platform that resists flexing under load. The unit features a 6-round capacity shell carrier mounted on the left side of the receiver, utilizing an internal Santoprene elastomer or rubber friction retention system to hold shells securely while allowing for quick, one-handed extraction. Additionally, a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail is integrated along the top of the receiver, offering a 5-inch mounting surface for optics without adding excessive bulk or shifting the firearm's balance.
