Overview

The MEC 600 Slugger is a single-stage shotgun reloading press designed specifically for loading rifled or sabot slugs. Based on the MEC Jr. Mark V platform, this press is a self-inclusive unit that does not require external tools like drill presses or spinners for operation. It features a cam-action crimp die and a Spindex crimp starter that swivels to align with original shell creases, producing a finished shell with a roll-crimp appearance. It is capable of a load rate of 100 to 125 rounds per hour. The press is factory-set for 2-3/4" shells but can be adjusted to accommodate 3" shells without additional parts. It includes a built-in priming system, which can be upgraded to an automatic primer feed (sold separately).

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
