Overview

The MDT XRS Chassis is designed to provide the fit and feel of a traditional rifle stock combined with the benefits of a modern precision chassis system. Built with a full-length CNC-machined core of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, the chassis features high-strength textured polymer panels that offer insulation against environmental elements. A precision aluminum V-block bedding system ensures a secure fit for rifle actions to maximize overall accuracy. Weighing approximately 3.9 pounds, the XRS features an adjustable length of pull ranging from 13.25 to over 15 inches using spacers, along with a quick-adjust cheek piece for proper scope height over bore. The system accepts standard AICS pattern magazines via an ambidextrous magazine latch and includes a replaceable, over-molded textured grip system with both an angled and a vertical grip included in the box. The generous 12-inch forend is equipped with built-in M-LOK slots for accessory mounting and supports the attachment of ARCA or Picatinny rails. This specific configuration is designed to fit short action Savage rifles.
