The MDT Howa Mini bottom metal is a simple bolt-in aluminum upgrade designed to replace factory polymer bottom metal on all Howa Mini factory stocks. It allows action screws to be properly torqued without cracking, leading to more repeatable accuracy. Additionally, the magazine latch is relocated to the rear of the magazine well to prevent accidental release while maneuvering the forend.
