Overview

The MDT AICS-pattern Short Action magazine is a 5-round, steel box magazine designed for .308 Winchester. It features a unique Double Stack to Single Feed (DSSF) transition design, which reduces the overall height of the magazine compared to standard AICS models, facilitating easier magazine changes when shooting from the prone position. The magazine is nitride-treated and finished with Cerakote Elite for enhanced corrosion resistance and friction reduction. It includes two internal ribs to ensure smooth cartridge movement and comes equipped with a front binder plate to guide cartridges past the feed ramp. The internal length is 2.890 inches, with a maximum cartridge overall length (COAL) capacity of 2.870 inches.

About DealsGunsAmmo (DGA)

A price and stock aggregator built for a market the incumbents stopped improving.

We compare listings across dozens of retailers and normalize everything to true cost-per-round — not sticker price, not case-size guesswork.

Who we are

DealsGunsAmmo (DGA) is an independent data provider tracking price and stock across the ammo, firearm, and parts market — giving buyers and the industry an outside, macro-level view of where the market actually stands.

What we’re building

A data-driven platform meant to be the go-to spot for purchasing decisions — comparing offers across vendors and tracking price history, so you can read the market as a whole, not just one listing at a time.

Who we serveNOW

Today, we help buyers on their purchasing journey with price alerts and a real look at where prices have actually been.

LaterNEXT

Down the road, we plan to sell that same market data back to vendors — inventory demand, customer interest and sentiment, and competitive pricing.
